EXECUTIVE COACHING

Coaching is a powerful on-the-job method to quickly develop leaders’ abilities to work most effectively with their senior, junior, and peer-level colleagues. Coaching is tailored to focus on achieving results in a leaders’ most important, specific growth areas, and given the leaders’ motivation, will result in long-lasting, impactful behavioral change. Thought-provoking questions, insights, and on the spot information are provided for the real, immediate situations that the leader is facing. Coaching discussions are based on trust, openness, mutual respect, and strict confidentiality. Each session should result in new insights, strategies, and/or actions for the leader, with solutions that are applied immediately and successfully.


COACH SUPERVISION

Coach Supervision is a long-established self-development practice for coaches that is required for European coach accreditation and by most European professional associations. This practice is now spreading in the Americas, including the US and Canada.  Dr. Lilian Abrams is a trained, credentialed Coach Supervisor, one of the first in the US.  She assists active executive coaches in developing themselves to meet the ever-evolving needs of their own coaching work with clients, including improving their coaching skills, explorations and decisions around ethics, and incorporating restoration and celebration into their normal coaching practice.


LEADERSHIP AND ORGANIZATION DEVELOPMENT

Abrams & Associates offers various activities either as stand-alone activities or as components that support a larger organizational initiative. Among many other activities, these include facilitation, team-building, applied research/explorations of management questions, and/or training design and delivery.

Change is continuous – what is less obvious is how to best manage change for organizational success. Organizational change occurs when an organization transitions from a current state to a future state. Abrams & Associates consultants help our clients manage change in ways that minimize resistance and organizational cost, and maximize the change effort’s overall effectiveness. Organization Development (OD) consists of structured activities that affect and ultimately improve an organization’s performance. In fact, “every action that influences an organization's improvement program...can be said to be an intervention.”  Executive Coaching as well as the other activities listed here all impact organizations to enable success.
